Type Locality and Naming
Along the Tepar sky dome, Chatkal Ridge. Ya.S. Levin in 1977 (460, p. 136).
Synonym: Teparskaya Suite, Тепарская св.
Lithology and Thickness
Organogenic limestones with terrigenous admixture of aleurolite and sandy size with interlayers of shell rocks, clayey and dolomitic limestones. Thickness 200-400m.
Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
Conformably, with a gradual transition, it overlies the Tyulkubash Fm
Upper contact
It is conformably overlapped by the carbonates of the Kokterek Fm. It is also shown as upper contact with Brichmullin Fm in schematical stratigraphic representation as it constitutes the lower subsuite of the Kokterek Fm
Regional extent
Chatkal, Pskem Ridge (in the cores of anticlinal structures). Previously, the T. suite was called the "suite of Famennian limestones-shell rocks," constituting the lower subsuite of the Kokterek Fm (165; 460).

Fossils
Contains predominantly Famennian brachiopods - Cyrtospirifer archiaci Murch., C. aquilinus Rom., C. romanovskii Nal., Mesoplica praelonga Sow., Camarotoechia karatauensis Nal., C. pleurodon Phill., Chonetes armata Buch. and others, bryozoans, crinoids, rugose, nautiloids are present.
